Chef Le's House: Reviews & Ratings
I've been waiting for a chinese place to come to Jarrell, and am so glad we finally have one! Tried it for the first time tonight; combination lomein, rangoons, egg drop soup. This may be the best egg drop soup I've had in a while! I'd come back just to get another bowl. The noodles were also tasty, plenty of meat and a good mix of veggies! My rangoons were crispy, good filling and came with what seems to he a house made sweet and sour (yum!). I'll definitely be coming back in the future to try more of the menu.
The Vietnamese food was absolutely delicious and beyond fresh! Every dish tasted vibrant and authentic. The waiter was attentive without being interruptive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The place was spotless and well-kept, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to and recommending to friends.
Second day ordering during their soft opening. Love the eggrolls and grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli entree. The shrimp lo mein is decent. Service was amazing.
The pho is soooo delicious. Like a warm hug for your soul. Staff is always awesome. I wish the game/claw machine at the entrance didn’t play the same song on repeat, but that’s my only complaint.
So thankful for a new restaurant choice in Jarrell! We tried their fried rice, sesame chicken, Rangoon, and we also purchased their pho broth. It all was fantastic but I can’t say enough about the broth!! Rich bone broth is delicious and healing and I’m grateful we no longer have to drive to Georgetown when we need the pick me up. I look forward to going for a sit down meal soon and not just going for takeout.
Definitely not a 5 star experience. People don’t know how to properly review. The pho broth itself was some of the best I’ve ever had. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. The interior is white and boring but very clean. My biggest issue is the lack of meat in the pho and the price. I paid I think $17 or $18 for the combination pho; this is what I get any time I eat pho. I was expecting decent amount and variety of meat like the menu says. Instead I get like 3 or 4 spongy obviously frozen tasteless meatballs and a few small pieces of what looked like flank steak or brisket. There should’ve been double the meat in there for the price. I’m just being honest, that is too much money for what you get. My wife got the chicken and she liked it just fine. I tasted the chicken and to me it tasted like garbage by itself. Like I said, the broth itself was great but the meat needs some work. I know this all sounds harsh but I’m just giving an honest review.
Came with my husband and 2 toddlers. All the food was fresh and hot, our waitress was very attentive. She repeated our order back to us before walking away. The peach tea is VERY sweet, but still really good. I didn't try the pho, but my husband did enjoy it. Lo mein is tasty, full of flavour. It's limited seating inside, but I'm positive this place will pick up and become a bit hit in town. They have single restrooms, 1 for men, 1 for women, very clean.
I love Pho! And was so happy to find out we finally have a spot in Jarrell to get some. We went and its was amazing! Great service as well.
